A Case Study in Sustainable Energy
Goa Institute of Management (GIM), a renowned business school in Goa, India, embarked on a significant solar energy project to reduce its carbon footprint and lower its energy costs. The institute partnered with Sun Photonics, a leading solar solutions provider, to install a 980 kW ground-mounted solar power plant on its campus.
The project faced several challenges, including land acquisition, grid connection, and regulatory hurdles. However, Sun Photonics’ experienced team successfully navigated these obstacles, ensuring a smooth project execution. The team conducted a thorough site assessment, designed the optimal layout for the solar panels, and obtained the necessary permits and approvals from local authorities.
Our solar project has been a game-changer for GIM. Not only has it reduced our energy costs, but it has also helped us to achieve our sustainability goals. We are proud to be leading the way in sustainable higher education.”
