Hisar Metal Industries Ltd., based in Hisar, Haryana, has been a trusted name in stainless steel manufacturing since 1990–91. The company is known for its cold-rolled precision stainless steel strips, ultra-thin foils as fine as 0.05 mm, and welded stainless steel tubes and pipes. But like many industries that rely heavily on electricity, Hisar Metal was struggling with two constant challenges—soaring energy bills and frequent power cuts. Both issues were affecting production efficiency and pushing operational costs higher.

In 2023, Sun Photonics, a leading commercial solar energy company in Haryana, stepped in with a solution. We designed and executed a 300 kW rooftop solar power project at Hisar Metal’s industrial facility under the solar CAPEX model. The goal was simple: reduce their energy costs, give them more control over power supply, and support their sustainability targets in line with India’s clean energy mission.

The project wasn’t without challenges—site limitations, grid integration, and regulatory compliance all came into play. But as the best solar EPC company for business, we were able to deliver the project smoothly and on time.

Today, Hisar Metal has not only reduced its electricity bills but also taken a big step toward energy independence. By cutting down its carbon footprint, the company has joined the growing list of industrial units in the region embracing clean and renewable energy with the support of Sun Photonics.
