Sun Photonics, a leading solar energy solutions provider, successfully executed a large-scale solar power project at JNB Steel Industries, a prominent industrial facility in Hisar, Haryana. The green energy project, undertaken in 2023, comprised a 3.6 MW ground-mounted solar power plant and a 2.6 MW rooftop solar system, making it one of the largest solar installations in the region.

The project aimed to reduce JNB Steel Industries’ energy costs, enhance its environmental sustainability, and contribute to India’s renewable energy goals. Despite the challenges associated with large-scale industrial solar installations, Sun Photonics successfully overcame obstacles such as site constraints, grid integration, and regulatory compliance. The team’s expertise in solar project design, engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) ensured a smooth and efficient implementation.
