Sun Photonics, a leading solar energy solutions provider, successfully executed a 600 kW ground-mounted solar power project at Kisan Agro Private Limited, an agricultural facility in Hisar, Haryana. The project, undertaken in 2023, aimed to reduce the company’s energy costs, enhance its environmental sustainability, and support its agricultural operations.

Despite the challenges associated with large-scale industrial solar installations, Sun Photonics successfully overcame obstacles such as site constraints, grid integration, and regulatory compliance. The team’s expertise in solar project design, engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) ensured a smooth and efficient implementation.

The project’s outcomes were significant. Kisan Agro Private Limited realized substantial reductions in electricity costs, increased its energy independence, and significantly lowered its carbon footprint. The project also demonstrated the potential of solar energy to support agricultural operations, such as powering irrigation systems, processing facilities, and other energy-intensive activities.
